Our collaborative design and build methodology recall the traditions of the Master Builder approach to construction, and our tailored range of services provides a boutique experience to our clients.
The FieldxStudio design and build project delivery is a departure from the traditional design/bid/build model and includes extensive pre-construction services in a more integrative approach where the project objectives are determined from the start and managed from the design phases through the completion of construction.
Our method of delivery provides full time management and coordination and real time analysis and feedback of design decisions and their impact to the project budget and schedule.

Why “X”?
Rather than an “&”, we use an “X” in our company name to indicate “and”. This is both a nod to the spirit of collaboration, and a subtle indication of our philosophy on the value of design and build. We believe that the traditional design/bid/build methodology achieves only a sum value of the roles of construction and architecture.
By combining these roles under one roof, we believe that the design and build methodology can multiply (hence the “X”) the value of both the construction and architecture disciplines resulting in a higher level of service to the project. We are also firm believers in the value of collaboration, and we view our clients, consultants, sub-contractors and vendors as partners and recognize the value they bring to each project.
